A deer that fell into an 80-foot-deep (24.38 metres) well was rescued by firefighters in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu.<br /><br />The incident took place in Parigam village of Kallakurichi district on June 20.<br /><br />The video shows, the firefighters getting into the well and rescuing the deer using thick ropes.<br /><br />According to the reports, the villagers on noticing the struggling deer informed the firefighters, who rushed to the spot and carried out the rescue operation.<br /><br />The deer was later released into the forest range by firefighters with the help of the forest officials.
