This is the shocking moment a toddler was injured after she ran through a sliding glass door while she was playing with her friend.<br /><br />The four-year-old girl named Chura was being baby-sitted by a neigbour in Hat Yai, southern Thailand, yesterday morning when the accident happened. <br /><br />She's seen on CCTV peering through the door as a little boy on the other side teasingly pulls a face at her before they start chasing each other round the house.<br /><br />Chura then turns back round and dashes towards the door - forgetting that there is a pane of glass in the way. <br /><br />A sudden loud smash is heard when the youngster clatters into the door and the glass shatters into dangerous shards.<br /><br />Chura suffered several cuts on her legs, hands and head and was kept in overnight at the local hospital. <br /><br />The family friend whose home she was staying in, Thida, said the mother understood that the injuries were an accident.<br /><br />Thida said: ''I'm so relieved that Chura was not seriously hurt as the glass is very sharp and it could have been worse. <br /><br />''I hope that every parent who sees the security camera video will think about how to prevent this kind of accident.''<br /><br />The easiest way to prevent people from walking into clear glass doors is to use a tinted film or add decorative stickers so they realise there is a solid object there.
