I travelled 6000km to re visit the North American Adirondack wilderness by canoe, it was a place I visited as a boy some 25 years earlier, it is bear country and i don't have a gun as i am just on a tourist visa. <br /> <br />Some of the friends i made online during the planning of the trip asked if they could come and meet me, i said "As long as you've got your own canoe, i'll paddle back to the landing point where i originally started my adventure and take you all back to my campsite by canoe" amazingly 9 Americans who were strangers to each other too had turned up to meet me when i paddled back out of the wilderness to meet whoever turned up. <br /> <br />A canoe camping adventure where total strangers meet for the first time in the heart of the Adirondacks 5 Ponds Wilderness where the only way in and out is by canoe. <br /> <br />This was the first time any of us had met outside of the internet, two of us had shot video and this is that story. The Adirondacks is a special place and i am not the only one who thinks so, this movie is a collaboration between myself and Patrick Mastromarchi (Adirondack Badger), we both shot, edited and produced it and share equal rights to it.
