A massive dust storm swept through Churu town in northern India on Thursday (June 25), darkening the skies just after noon. <br /><br />It became so dark that vehicles had to switch on headlights and many homes also lit up.<br /><br />Video filmed by a local reporter and shared with his permission shows the eerily orange skies.<br /><br />The storm passed without causing any damage, although though local citizens reported breathing difficulties. <br /><br />Churu lies close to the Thar Desert and experiences frequent dust storms.
