미 상원, 중국 제재하는 '홍콩자치법' 만장일치 통과<br /><br />The U.S. Senate has passed a bill by unanimous consent that would punish China for suppressing Hong Kong's democratic freedom.<br />Dubbed the 'Hong Kong Autonomy Act', Washington can impose sanctions on businesses and individuals that help mainland China restrict Hong Kong's autonomy.<br />It can also impose secondary boycotts on banks that transact with them as well as restrict Chinese government officials and Hong Kong police directly.<br />The bill will take effect once it passes the House of Representatives before going to President Trump's desk for his signature.<br />
