Malaysia can no longer take in Rohingya Muslim refugees from Myanmar, said Tan Sri Muhyiddin.<br /><br />The Prime Minister said that on Friday during teleconference with other leaders of the 10-member Association of South-east Asian Nations (Asean), which includes Myanmar.<br /><br />Citing a struggling economy and dwindling resources as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, Muhyiddin also urged the UN refugee agency to speed up the resettlement of Rohingya in Malaysia to third countries.<br /><br />The Prime Minister also called for more efforts to combat human trafficking of Rohingya.<br /><br />WATCH MORE: https://thestartv.com/c/news<br />SUBSCRIBE: https://cutt.ly/TheStar<br />LIKE: https://fb.com/TheStarOnline
