동행세일 첫주말 유통가 '활기'…"코로나 이후 매출증가율 최대"<br /><br />There's a huge retail event going on now in South Korea the Donghaeng Sale meant to give a boost to economic consumption during the pandemic.<br />And based on sales over this first weekend, it's doing just that.<br />Data show Lotte Department Store saw revenues jump 21 percent on Friday and Saturday compared to the first two days of last year's summer sale.<br />Sales at Lotte's outlet stores were up 55 percent.<br />And now selling duty-free products at its outlets with no need for a plane ticket, Lotte said it's managed to move 60 percent of that inventory, far exceeding its target.<br />The Donghaeng Sale is nationwide, offering discounts on everything from fashion to groceries... until July 12th.<br />
