Two spooked Australian girls discovered a mysterious animal-like imprint underneath the sofa when they moved into their new London flat. <br /><br />"We were really happy when the previous tenant gave us his sofa for a bargain. But then we looked underneath and discovered the creepy outline of what looked like a dead animal, like a squirrel or a cat! We could see this white, dusty powder forming the shape of the mystery creature, so we decided to open up the sofa and take a look inside." <br /><br />The girls say they have since disposed of the "haunted" sofa. <br /><br />But what was the strange dusty white powder? Why was it in the shape of an animal? And how on earth did it get there?<br /><br />"We'd love to know if anyone has any theories because this mystery has got us totally stumped," they said. <br /><br />And next time we rent out a flat, we'll bring our own furniture".
