Mike Henry, the actor who voices the character Cleveland on "Family Guy" has stepped down.<br />Henry's resignation is the latest in a slew of white actors stepping away from roles in which they voice animated characters of color.<br />According to CNN, Henry made the announcement Friday evening via his Twitter account.<br />He wrote, "I love this character, but persons of color should play characters of color".<br />Henry has voiced the much-beloved character for 20 years.<br />"Family Guy" has other nonwhite characters voiced by White actors, including Tricia Takanawa, voiced by Alex Borstein.
