Firemen in central China rescued residents trapped in flooded building after a rainstorm.<br /><br />In the video, filmed in the city of Zhongxiang in Hubei Province on June 28, firefighters sat on an assault boat to move through the flooded streets and arrived at a submerged building to evacuate five residents trapped on the ground floor.<br /><br />In another clip, firefighters helped rescue a mother and a daughter who got trapped on the first floor of a residential building after the ground floor was flooded.<br /><br />More than 300 rescuers, five canoes and three assault boats were sent to rescue and evacuate around 1,000 trapped residents, according to reports.<br /><br />The video provided by local media with permission.
