A Bengal monitor lizard stuck under a pile of rubbish was rescued in the Vidyaranyapura area of Bengaluru, India.<br /><br />The monitor lizard was rescued by Rajesh Kumar, a wildlife rescuer. <br /><br />The footage, filmed on June 30, shows the monitor lizard unable to move before being rescued by Kumar.<br /><br />The animal was later handed over to a wildlife rescue centre.
