중증 코로나19 환자, 국내 최초 폐이식 수술 성공<br /><br />South Korea has become only the fourth country in the world to complete a successful lung transplant on a COVID-19 patient.<br />The operation was conducted on a woman late last month... at Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital just outside of Seoul.<br />She was suffering from pulmonary fibrosis, a hardening of the lungs,... and had been put under intensive care for one-hundred-12 days after contracting the virus in late February.<br />The patient, in her 50s, is now reportedly breathing well on her own and undergoing rehabilitation.<br />The only other countries to perform the same surgery to a success... are China, the U.S., and Austria.<br />
