A motorist climbed out of a car window to escape as his vehicle was washed away by flash floods in southern China.<br /><br />The video, shot in the city of Zhangjiajie in Hunan Province on July 2, shows a black car being swept away by floodwater and the motorist attempting to climb out of the car through its window.<br /><br />A woman was heard saying: "The car moves away. Hurry up! Hurry up!"<br /><br />According to the filmer, the motorist escaped his car successfully and he is safe.<br /><br />The video was provided by local media with permission.
