Young Indian inventor creates automatic hand sanitising machine from waste material

A young inventor from eastern India's Manipur region has created an automatic hand sanitiser dispenser from waste material.<br /><br />Footage from June 27 shows the creation being used in the boy's workshop.<br /><br />Multiple people put their hands within the device and the sanitizer is dispensed from above.<br /><br />After users have sanitised their hands a dryer function is initiated.<br /><br />The machine is made of cardboard, old batteries, shakers, syringes and torch lights, which have all been collected from the garbage.<br /><br />Speaking in Manipuri we hear: "We are making an auto hand sanitiser and dispenser machine.<br /><br />"It includes self dryer also.<br /><br />"Insert hands, after you insert your hands, the sensor will recognise it and it will shower the sanitiser automatically.<br /><br />"We are using only the trashes collected from neighbours.<br /><br />"We are using four syringes, unused cooling fans, shakers from herbal life and some pipes.<br /><br />"This machine will be very useful for big pharmacies and offices where one can sanitise their hands without touching anything. <br /><br />"This will decrease community transmission also.<br /><br />"We can easily refill the sanitizer by opening the lid of the shakers on the back of the machine. <br /><br />"The level of the sanitizer contains is also easily indicated into five levels starting from 100 ml to 500 ml.<br /><br />"The machine works with a battery and it is chargeable."
