Footage shows massive landslide erosion from mountain roads in Digos City, the Philippines after 12 hours of heavy rain which started on June 28 evening.<br /><br />Rhannie Rose Armada, who lives near the erosion said she was astonished when she saw the destruction in the morning.<br /><br />She said: "We live a few miles away from the evacuation centers so we cannot leave during the night. We saw the roads in the morning before we left our houses to evacuate."<br /><br />The local government has instructed residents to visit evacuation centers even after the rain had stopped and stay there until the weather conditions improve.<br /><br />Several parts of the Mindanao region were battered by thunderstorms that forced more than 300 families to leave their homes and spend the night in evacuation centers.
