유진상가 지하공간, 예술공간으로 변신…'홍제유연' 개방<br /><br />After being left to gather dust for 50 years,..the basement of a shopping and residential complex in Seoul has been turned into a public art gallery.<br />The 250-meter long under passage of Yujin Commercial Complex in Seodaemun-gu District was off-limits for years but is now open for 12 hours everyday displaying types of art that incorporates light and sound.<br />The opening of this makeshift gallery in the same year as the Korean War's 70th anniversary holds special meaning...since the building was used as a defense line to protect the Blue House from an attempted invasion from the North in 1970.<br />
