A wandering cow fell into an open storm drain in Managiri, Tamil Nadu and was trapped for two hours before being rescued by firefighters.<br /><br />Footage of the rescue operation on June 26 shows the cow in the storm drain, on its side before being turned upright.<br /><br />Eventually, a series of ropes are attached to the animal and it is pulled from the deep drain after the long ordeal.<br /><br />Later the cow was handed over to the owner after a small health check-up by the veterinarian team. <br /><br />Locals in area hailed the work of fire and rescue team and conveyed their thanks also.
