북한 외무성 "미국 사람들과 마주 앉을 생각 없다"<br /><br />Our starting point this morning,...<br />North Korea on the verbal attack again,... saying it has zero interest in talking to the U.S. despite Washington's efforts to re-engage with the regime.<br />The North's state-un media cited a statement by Kwon Jong-gun the head of the North's foreign ministry's North America Department, in which he said there's no need for talks with U.S. officials.<br />This comes just hours before U.S. nuclear envoy Stephen Biegun arrives in Seoul for talks on nuclear diplomacy with officials here.<br />Although not confirmed, there had been speculation that Biegun may even visit the border village of Panmunjom during his three-day stay in the South.<br />The latest remark is also in line with another veteran North Korean diplomat Choe Son-hui, who last weekend, ruled out the possibility of more talks with Washington.<br />
