6.25전쟁 70주년 평화의 패 수여식<br /><br />Today marks the 70th anniversary of when the United Nations Security Council passed a resolution to establish the UN Command.<br />An event was held today in Seoul to offer gratitude for the sacrifices made by Korean War veterans from the 22 countries... that fought under the UN flag seven decades ago.<br />The Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs said... the ambassadors to South Korea from each of the 22 countries received the Plaque of Peace.<br />The plaques are made of smelted parts of barbed-wire fences and military equipment... that had been found in the Demilitarized Zone.<br />
