넷플릭스로 한국여행 떠나요...코로나 속 "영상관광" 통해 한국 홍보<br /><br />Experience and explore Korea, virtually on Netflix.<br />International audience will from now on be able to get a glimpse of Korea online, as the nation's tourism organization has launched a joint campaign with Netflix... that promotes a selection of Korean content.<br />Lee Kyung-eun tells us more.<br />"You've heard it before. Now, experience it on the screen."<br />In partnership with Netflix, the Korea Tourism Organization is helping people see Korea without leaving home.<br />It's promoting a selection of Korea-related movies and dramas on Netflix... through which users can experience the country virtually.<br />The promotional video for the so-called "Explore Korea" campaign was released on Tuesday on the agency's social media, offering a glimpse of what the collection has to offer.<br />That includes the period drama "Kingdom," which depicts the beauty of the Korean traditional attire hanbok.<br />There are also multiple food shows like "Chef's Table," which explore local culinary delights.<br />And in the movie "To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You," viewers can get a taste of the things Korean young people enjoy, like a popular yogurt drink.<br />To find the collection on Netflix, you can just search for "Explore Korea"...or put the phrase at the end of the website's address.<br />The KTO says it plans to boost this kind "video tourism" so that global fans of Hallyu, or the Korean Wave, can experience the country in the post-COVID-19 era.<br />"Traveling is largely restricted these days. But this variety of content is enabling some one-hundred million global Hallyu fans to indirectly experience Korea everything from fashion to food and lifestyle."<br />The agency also expects to see a long-term tourism effect... because these Hallyu fans are potential tourists.<br />Plus, a recent survey shows that Hallyu tourists are more likely than ordinary tourists... to visit Korea more than once.<br />Lee Kyung-eun, Arirang News.<br />
