Davao City Council passed an ordinance penalizing the non-wearing facemasks<br />in public places and even inside business establishments during this quarantine<br />period or until after the lifting of the state of public health emergency.<br /><br />Under the ordinance, P500 will be meted for the first offense; P2,000 for the<br />second offense; and P5,000 or one-month imprisonment or both for the third offense.
