An avalanche of rocks came tumbling down onto a road in northeastern India, obstructing traffic on the entire stretch of the route.<br /><br />The incident took place along the Malbasey Road connecting Soreng with Budang Thangsing in the state of Sikkim, on July 9.<br /><br />According to reports, Sikkim has been hit by heavy rainfall over the past two weeks, triggering landslides in several areas of the state.
