A landspout tornado was seen sweeping across fields in Nueva Ecija, Philippines on June 15.<br /><br />Resident Elsie Paculanan recorded the dark grey swirling column of cloud for several minutes before it dissipated.<br /><br />She said: ''There was a strong rain storm shortly after this happened. I've never seen anything like it before.''<br /><br />Landspouts forms while a thunderstorm cloud is still growing and there is no rotating updraft with the spinning motion originating near the ground.
