중국 홍수 피해 14조원,... 시진핑 "지금은 결정적 시기"<br /><br />Chinese president Xi Jinping has ordered an all-out rescue and relief operation as heavy downpours and flooding has killed over 100 people in the south of the country.<br />President Xi said local governments have to fulfill their responsibilities, and urged the army to actively participate in the efforts.<br />Flooding has affected over 38 million people in 27 provinces, forcing the Chinese government to raise its alert to its second highest level.<br />At least 141 people have died or are missing and two-point-two million have been forced from their homes.<br />Chinese state media says the immediate economic loss is estimated to reach a near 12 billion U.S. dollars.<br />
