A cool-headed firemen caught a python with one hand after it killed a family's pet cat.<br /><br />Jirawat Iamlamai, 28, was contacted by a house owner Harithat Krueyai, 46, after her moggy went missing and he suspected a reptile had eaten it.<br /><br />The snake wrangler found the 10ft long snake coiled up in a tire before he reached in with a single hand and plucked it out in Ang Thong, central Thailand.<br /><br />Jirawat said that increasing numbers of snakes are searching for food and shelter in buildings due to rainstorms sweeping across the country.<br /><br />He said: "We have been called out to a lot of snake cases recently, so it's important that people do not disturb them or try catching them by themselves as they can be very dangerous."
