The Nautilus comes as a replacement for the previous Lincoln MKX, from which it differs primarily in a different front part (with a more traditional mask and smaller lights), modeled on the Continental model. The back part, however, did not undergo major changes.<br />There are changes in the interior as well, in the form of a new three-spoke, multifunctional steering wheel, new colors, and higher quality materials, as well as a digital instrument panel.<br />
