Karl Molyneaux, 53, turned his girlfriend’s life “upside down” after the attack on the night of Wednesday, March 11, which he carried out while her two teenage children were upstairs.<br />Molyneaux left her bleeding heavily on the floor after inflicting multiple stab wounds to her neck and arm and fled, calling police from a petrol station to confess his crime.<br />He has now been jailed for 13-and-a-half years after admitting attempted murder.
