문대통령, 오늘 국회 개원연설 예정<br /><br />Our top story this morning.<br />President Moon Jae-in will deliver a speech to lawmakers on Thursday to mark the formal opening of the 21st National Assembly.<br />This afternoon's ceremony is being held almost 50 days since lawmakers started their new terms, due to wrangling over the distribution of standing committee chair posts.<br />President Moon initially planned to address the assembly in early June.<br />He's expected to call for bipartisan efforts to overcome COVID-19 and seek legislative support for state tasks, such as his administration's Korean New Deal initiative.<br />
