These hotel guests were blown away when a real-life robot delivered items to their room at a hotel in Sandiego, California.<br /><br />Footage shows a robot delivering sanitary products to the room after guest Austin Kelekian and his girlfriend Ariana called the front desk of the Towneplace Suites in downtown San Diego on July 11.<br /><br />Kelekian explained to Newsflare: "We got a phone call on the room phone, so I picked it up. <br /><br />"I then heard through the phone, an automated voice saying 'your robot is here with your delivery.'<br /><br />"I felt a little nervous, so I checked the peephole as you can see in the video, then proceeded to open the door and keep filming the whole interaction on Snapchat. <br /><br />"I was very curious as to how it was going to take the elevator after we had grabbed the delivery and went through the onscreen courtesy questions."<br /><br />Robot butlers and waiters have been used more frequently since the global coronavirus pandemic.<br /><br />He later said: "It entered the elevator and wirelessly chose which floor to head back down to. For context, we were on the third floor of the hotel."
