한미국방장관 전화회담... "전작권 전환 흔들림 없이 지원해나갈 것"<br /><br />Other than discussing defense cost sharing, Seoul and Washington's defense chiefs reaffirmed... that they will not waver in pushing to transfer wartime operational control from Washington to Seoul.<br />During their phone talks on Tuesday, South Korean Defense Minister Jeong Kyeong-doo and U.S. Secretary of Defense Mark Esper also discussed how to hold annual summertime military exercises amid coronavirus concerns.<br />It's widely seen that the exercises will be smaller in scale.<br />They also agreed to continue supporting diplomatic efforts toward peace on the Korean Peninsula, while maintaining military readiness and a combined defense posture.<br />
