A number of tourists were left shocked after a large bison approached and stood within a few feet of them at Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming.<br /><br />The footage filmed on July 22 shows the "massive beast" standing next to the chair the tourists were sitting on just moments before.<br /><br />The filmer told Newsflare: "A bison approached us at Yellowstone and we retreated to our vehicle. We had been watching this bison for a while down the road because he kept standing in the middle of the road blocking traffic.<br /><br />"I wasn’t scared because we were a good distance away from the bison and there was a truck between us and the animal. I think I was just in shock that this massive beast was so close to our chair where we were just sitting. A second bison came up behind him and stared the chair for a long time. <br /><br />"We thought that bison was going to attack the chair but it never did. Both bison continued walking and crossed the street again and walked out of sight."
