This was the sweet moment a rhinoceros calf separated from its mother amid floods in northeast India’s Assam, drank milk for the first time after being rescued.<br /><br />The clip, filmed on July 22, shows the calf suckling the bottle held by a keeper at the Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation near Kaziranga National Park, at Borjuri village in Nagaon.<br /><br />Reports suggest that the calf is in good health as of now.<br /><br />The calf was among 117 animals that were rescued from Kaziranga National Park, which is home to the endangered Indian rhinoceros.
