Firefighters have rescued a horse left stranded inside a well in Karaikal, Puducherry, India on July 22.<br /><br />According to reports, the thirsty animal fell into the well while trying to drink water from it.<br /><br />Residents spotted the animal and alerted the fire department officials who rushed to the spot to rescue the horse.<br /><br />The video shows a group of firefighters trying to rescue the horse from the well.<br /><br />The crew first drained the water out of the well to keep the horse afloat. They then used ropes and a fire hose to support the animal from the bottom and hauled it out of the well.<br /><br />After several attempts, they managed to rescue the animal.
