중, 휴스턴 영사관서 철수…미국 관리들이 영사관 접수<br /><br />U.S. Federal agents have taken over the Chinese consulate in Houston as of Friday local time, following an order that it cease operation amid espionage allegations.<br />Beijing, however, has not released an official statement regarding the shutdown.<br />The action comes after China hit back at the U.S. by ordering the shutdown of its consulate in the southwestern city of Chengdu.<br />Also on Friday local time, the FBI arrested ( )Tang Juan, a Chinese researcher who took refuge in China's San Fransisco consulate after allegedly committing visa fraud.<br />She was accused of concealing that she served in the Chinese military in the entry process.<br />A senior Justice Department official said she will appear in court on Monday, but added that the arrest was not a tit-for-tat move as tensions between Washington and Beijing simmer.<br />
