Firemen rescued two children from a locked car after a mother accidentally closed the doors while the engine was still running.<br /><br />The mother parked her pickup truck at a school to collect the girls' brother in Songkhla, southern Thailand.<br /><br />She had left her two girls, ages one and four, inside the car and left the engine on to quickly pick up her son.<br /><br />However, when she returned to the car with the young boy, she found that her two girls had fallen asleep.<br /><br />She tried to knock on the window to wake them up and open the door for but to no avail.<br /><br />The panic-stricken mother called the emergecny services to help her unlock the door as she started to worry that the girls could be in danger.<br /><br />Rescuers spent 20 minutes un-jamming the car window before they could open it while the older girl simultaneously woke up and was baffled by the chaotic scene.<br /><br />The relieved mother-of-three said that normally her older girl would be prepared to open the car door for her but this time she was fast asleep.<br /><br />She said: "I have taught my older daughter to unlock the car and always left them in the car while I went to pick up their brother.<br /><br />"But this time I think they were exhausted from their day at the school and fell into a deep sleep so they didn't hear me from outside."
