푸틴 "해군에 극초음속 미사일•핵 추진 수중 드론 배치될 것"<br /><br />The Russian Navy is to be armed with hypersonic nuclear strike weapons and underwater nuclear drones.<br />This is according to the Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday, during the country's annual Navy Day parade in Saint Petersburg.<br />By hypersonic nuclear strike weapon, he means the Zircon hypersonic cruise missile, which can be deployed on surface ships.<br />The underwater nuclear drone is the Poseidon underwater nuclear drone that is designed to be carried by submarines.<br />Putin said the deployment of such advanced digital tech will give the fleet "increased combat capabilities."<br />According to Russian news agencies, Moscow's defense ministry says testing of the new weapons systems is nearing completion.<br /><br />
