NBA News: Kyrie Irving Starts Fund for WNBA Players Sitting Out 2020 Season<br /><br />Kyrie Irving is showing his support for WNBA players who decide to opt out of the 2020 season. The WNBA, similar to the NBA, is playing inside of a bubble on the campus of IMG academy in Florida. Irving has started a $1.5 million fund for players who choose to opt out over health concerns, social justice reform, or other reasons.<br /><br />Prior to Irving's initiative, WNBA players who decided not to play had no form of financial reimbursement from the league.
