독일 헌재, '잊힐 권리' 소송서 구글에 손…"사례별 판단"

A German court has sided with Google, denying a request to wipe search results.
A former manager of a charity had demanded Google to remove news article links that showed when he searched his name.
The articles, from 2011, said the charity was experiencing financial difficulties, and the manager called in sick.
The former manager argued that his personal health issues should not be disclosed even years later, under the 'right to be forgotten'.
But the court ruled that the right should be applied case-by-case, and in this case, it was not applicable.
It also said the public's right to know, as well as the rights of the content providers should be taken into account as well.
