Pak Jong-hak , the director of Asian affairs at North Korea's foreign ministry said in a statement Monday that such efforts are in line with the regime's own will to ensure lasting peace through dialogue and negotiations.<br />The ARF is the only multilateral security consultative body that North Korea participates in.<br />Ri Ho-jun, a Vietnam-based North Korean diplomat, was part of the ARF Senior Officials Meeting that was held virtually last week but did not make any remarks.<br />
