모더나, 코로나19 백신 3상시험 돌입…세계 최대 규모<br /><br />The world's first phase three clinical trial of a COVID-19 vaccine has begun in the United States.<br />It's being conducted by U.S. biotech company Moderna and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.<br />According to Moderna, the trial is to be conducted at nearly one hundred research sites in the U.S.,... with the first patients dosed at a site in Georgia.<br />The trial is expected to enroll around 30-thousand adult volunteers and evaluate the safety of the vaccine,... and see whether it can prevent symptomatic COVID-19 after two doses.<br />Moderna has also received an additional 472-million dollars from the U.S. government to support the development of its potential COVID-19 vaccine.<br />
