This was the terrifying moment a three-storey building collapsed in Bangalore, southern India on July 29. <br /><br />No casualties were reported as the police had evacuated occupants of the building a day ago. Officials said another building in the vicinity had also collapsed. <br /><br />The incident took place next to a construction site, which had been dug 80-feet deep to build a high rise. Officials said poorly planned construction activity had led to the collapse of the building. The owner of the new project would face legal action, they added. <br /><br />A local resident said: “We had informed the police and civic officials after cracks were discovered in the building. All occupants in the building and the nearby ones were evacuated on July 28 itself.”<br /> <br />Police, civil and fire department personnel, who were stationed at the spot, captured the dramatic moment of the three-story building tumbling down.
