CCTV captured the shocking and bizarre moment a tuk-tuk driver in Bangalore was flung into the air and smashed into a pedestrian after a wire in the road got caught in traffic.<br /><br />The footage was captured on July 16 outside a motorbike showroom in Bengaluru's Thambu Chetty Palya area.<br /><br />The incident occurred due to an overhanging wire being on the road that was busy with traffic.<br /><br />The tuk-tuk driver's vehicle was stuck on the wire and he was trying to dislodge it but an oncoming scooter caught the wire, which yanked it in the opposite direction.<br /><br />The wire was pulled violently sending the driver high into the air into the direction of the pavement, where he landed on and took out a pedestrian.<br /><br />The pedestrian was named as a local resident, Sunitha K, 40, who sustained a head injury.<br /><br />Sunitha was treated at a local hospital and discharged. The driver was reported to have left the scene without serious injury.<br /><br />Local authorities are investigating the accident.
