A terrified driver had a live SNAKE wrapping itself around her leg.<br /><br />Jarunee Wongsawat, 56, was travelling home when she noticed the reptile on her left leg in Chonburi, eastern Thailand.<br /><br />The driver screamed and shook it off before pulling into a mechanic's garage to plead for help. <br /><br />Footage shows the 3ft long rat snake peering out from under the steering wheel while Jarunee sits still in the driving seat trying not to provoke it.<br /><br />Mechanic had to them disassemble the car console so rescue workers could find the serpent. <br /><br />They later found the 3ft long rat snake hiding among the wires and pulled it out before releasing it back to the wild.<br /><br />The relieved driver Jarunee said she was shocked as she felt the snake coiling around her leg, but she managed to compose herself.<br /><br />Jarunee said: "I was genuinely shocked as the snake slithered up my leg but then I tried to talk to and tell it not to harm me. It then slithered back into the console.<br /><br />"Fortunately, I did not panic otherwise I could have crashed the car and it would have been such a horrible accident."
