트럼프 "틱톡, 8월1일부터 미국에서 사용 금지하겠다"<br /><br />U.S. President Donald Trump has said he will ban Tik Tok in the U.S. amid rising tensions between Washington and Beijing.<br />Trump told reporters on Friday local time that he will take action as soon as Saturday to prohibit Chinese-owned video app Tik Tok from the U.S.<br />Describing the action as "severance", he said he could use executive order or economic emergency power to bar Tik Tok from operating in the country.<br />He cited that the app has been a source of national security and censorship concerns over the safety of the personal data that Tik Tok collects.<br />Trump also rejected the idea of a potential deal for Microsoft to buy the app from its Beijing-based parent company ByteDance .<br />
