The government has no plans to make it compulsory for entertainment outlets to be equipped with breathalysers to test customers who drank alcohol before they leave.<br /><br />Transport Minister Wee Ka Siong said the government only encouraged entertainment outlet operators to do so.<br /><br />The minister was responding to Mohd Nizar Zakaria (BN-Parit) who asked if the government would implement a "blow before go" policy for pubs.<br /><br />Wee said the government has also advised operators to counsel their customers under the influence of alcohol not to drive.
