Heavy rains lashed South Korea at the weekend with flooding forcing road closures in parts of Seoul on Monday, and parkways along the Han River submerged.<br /><br />Authorities said Monday six people were dead, nine were missing and more than 1,500 temporarily evacuated from their homes after a deluge swept across the capital and surrounding provinces Sunday, causing flash flooding and landslides in some parts of the country.<br /><br />More rain is forecast in the coming days.
