"베네딕토 16세 전 교황, 독일 방문 후 질병으로 기력 쇠약해져"<br /><br />The former Pope Benedict the Sixteenth is reported to be "seriously ill".<br />A German newspaper cited Benedict's biographer, who said the 93-year-old has fallen ill from a facial infection since his trip to Germany in June, to see his ailing brother who died last month.<br />The biographer said Benedict's voice is "barely audible" and he's "extremely frail".<br />But the Vatican, responding to the report, said on Monday that Benedict's condition is "not particularly worrying".<br />Benedict was elected to the papacy in 2005, but resigned after 8 years, becoming the first pontiff in 6 hundred years to resign, instead of ruling for life.<br />He was succeeded by Pope Francis.<br />
