北 임진강 상류 황강댐 수문 일부 개방 정황 포착<br /><br />North Korea has opened the floodgates of a border dam without giving South Korea any notice after heavy downpours in the North.<br />According to government sources, the North on Monday partially discharged water from the Hwanggang Dam on the western inter-Korean border.<br />The sources assume it was done to adjust water levels in advance of torrential rain in North Korea.<br />The opening of the floodgates sends water into the Imjin River which could potentially harm South Korean fishermen.<br />The opening of the floodgates follows Pyeongyang's issuance of special heavy rain warnings for parts of the regime.<br />
