A vet in Baripada, southern India saved an abandoned civet cat that was run over by a biker.<br /><br />Footage filmed on July 18 shows the injured civet undergoing surgery before being released back into the wild.<br /><br />After hearing about the civet's incident, animal rescue Krishna Gochhait rushed to the scene and brought the animal to Baripada veterinary hospital. <br /><br />After 10 stitches and a week of recovery, the animal was released by the forest department.
