Chinese firefighters rescue motorists after car gets stranded in rapid floodwater

Firefighters rescued three people in a car after the vehicle got stranded in the rapid floodwater in eastern China.<br /><br />The video, shot in the city of Jinhua in Zhejiang Province on August 4, shows a fireman throwing a safety rope to the car for a man to tie on around his body. They then pulled the rope to help the man get out of his car and bring him to safety.<br /><br />Due to typhoon Hagupit, heavy rainfall hit the city, causing flash floods.<br /><br />According to reports, the three people drove to Xishang Village for holiday but their car got stranded in the floodwater when they drove through the area.<br /><br />Two people in the car were rescued by firefighters and one people washed to the roadside by the floods was saved by a villager.<br /><br />Three people were sent to hospital for treatment and they were all in stable condition.
